We decided to head back home during the early morning so we could spend most of the 11 hours driving in daylight since the kiddos didn't do so well driving down overnight in the dark. The drive home was a HUGE success! It turns out they like traveling during the day so they can lay back and enjoy the beautiful scenery as much as we do! We were sad to leave our family and the beautiful, sunny beaches of California, but SO ready to be back home in our beds and back into our routine again. Thank you again for the good time Pop Pop, Grandma, and Auntie! We miss you already!
