Pismo Beach, CA. This is where we spent most of our vacation. This is where our hotel was, and this is where Matt spent most of his childhood/teen/high school years. This beach is my favorite out of all of the Central Coast beaches. Everytime we head down south we always make sure we stop at the Splash Cafe for a bowl of clam chowder and fish 'n' chips. Growing up, Matt said him and his buddies used to surf and stop by this little cafe for good eats. In fact, their chowder is so popular, you can actually buy it online from their little restaurant and have it shipped frozen to your door along with their sourdough bowls.

During our week vacation, we ate at Splash Cafe 3 different times...1 of the times, I had Matt drive over and bring it back to the hotel. lol. Couldn't get enough!
