In February, Adrian had his 18 month well check. This big boy is growing by the second. He weighed in at 29 1/2 lbs. Which puts him in the 80% for weight in his age group and he was 34 1/2 inches tall putting him in the 95% for height. Comparing our 2 boys, Brooklyn is definitely the long and lean one while Adrian is the long and stalky one. Adrian is still a little shorter than Brooklyn but we get asked if they are twins on a daily basis, everywhere we go.
Adrian is a talker. This boy talks and talks and talks. He repeats everything his brother says. No is his answer to most things. He will even shake his head yes while saying the word no. He is extremely polite, saying please and thank you for everything. Always apologizing if he thinks he did something wrong.
He loves sports! Baseball and Basketball are his favorite right now. If you take this boy to a kids toys store, you would think he would want an actual kids toy, but not in his case. We end up leaving with a full size basketball (his choice).
He is still sleeping in his crib, he has yet to attempt to climb out. Brooklyn climbed out of his crib for the first time when he was only 17 months old. I would like to keep him in his crib for as long as possible. Once he is in a toddler bed then I'm thinking about having the boys share a room.
He enjoys looking at books and he loooves to sing. His favorite songs have been ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle, and The Wonder Pets theme song. He enjoys his new friends in his playgroup, he loves going to church and playing with his buddies in bible school, and he loves being outdoors. We're going to attempt our first camping trip with the boys this Summer! Super excited!
