Brooklyn Matthew used to be so good about letting us brush his teeth for him. Since his first tooth came in he has always been so excited to get his teeth brushed. Anytime we ever said "time to brush your teeth," his little legs would run straight to the bathroom before we could even blink...Well, about a month ago...change happened. Brooklyn is becoming more and more independent by the day. All of a sudden momma wasn't allowed to brush Brooklyn's teeth anymore. This big boy was all about brushing himself, only his idea of brushing was sucking the toothpaste right off the tooth brush and then "all done Momma!" It has been an ongoing battle with brushing that I basically lost hope. Frustration set in, I figured I would do my best everyday making an effort, making it fun, and brushing along with him. Nothing would work until Daddy discovered the vibrating Dora and Diego toothbrush at the store. Brooklyn has always had an interest in Matt's sonicare and he absolutely loves Dora and Diego so we bought it. At last! Dora and Diego saved the day! B boy loves his new toothbrush, in fact, he lets me brush his teeth for him again and even longer than he did before! With a little experimenting and a lot of patience, Momma won the battle!
