He continues to surprise us everyday with his happy and loving personality. He cut his first, left, bottom tooth at the end of November and now has his right top and bottom teeth coming in so he has his cranky days. Brooklyn took his first step a couple of weeks ago and is continuing to build the courage taking 2 at a time now. He continues to say Momma, Dadda, Ba Ba, and knows what we are saying when we say certain things.
He loves playing peek-a-boo (he holds the blanket over his face and drops it with a smile) and loves it when we read to him as he kisses all the pictures on every page. His little face fills with excitement everytime he sees himself in the mirror, as he kisses his own image. He continues to give us tight squeezes and sweet, soft kisses. Sometimes after he wakes up I will bring him to our room and he will wake up daddy by kissing him on the nose, forehead, chin, or lips. It really melts my heart. He's sweet for sure but he sure does love to test mommy and daddy when he gets into things that he is not supposed to like putting his hands up on the TV screen, crawling inside kitchen cabinets, trying to climb up on the dishwasher door while it's down, and we have to be super careful when we open the fridge door because "you know who" will be right at your feet trying to grab everything out!
We always know when lil B is happy because he will scream with excitement and you can hear him from all different areas of the house, but you always know when he's upset too because he lets you have it for sure! He always has something to say about everything!
Here is Brooklyn's free studio picture we got taken at Sears a few weeks ago. We just can't believe our little baby is going to be 1 year in 2 months!
