Brooklyn is growing up so fast! We can't believe he is already 2 months old. We took him to his 2 month appointment today to get his first set of immunizations. Rather than getting all 5 in one sitting we decided to spread them out a little. He did very well, only cried for about 10 seconds which was a relief for me :) The pediatrician did mention that Brooklyn should probably start sleeping in his own crib now since he isn't sleeping more than 3.5 hours at night.....yes, he has been sleeping in mommy's arms every night since he was born. I know, I know...he's very spoiled! It will probably be a harder transition for me than it will be for him. The dr. said he should be sleeping at around 6-8 hours at night on his own. Also a funny thing the pediatrician said was that boys tend to have their mothers, fathers hair type so it looks like Brooklyn may have Papa Rodgers locks!Brooklyn is now 13 lbs. 4 oz. which puts him at 80% bigger than babies his age and he's 24 and 3/4 inches long which puts him at 90% longer than babies his age. He's a big boy that's for sure! He is constantly smiling and giggling throughout the day and his motor skills are amazing! He's holding his head up on his own pretty good now and is holding his own weight for a few seconds at a time as you can see in the picture above. Brooklyn loves his daddy's rattle that he had when he was a baby (pictured above), he loves to chill out in his front pack while mommy does chores around the house, as you can see he is asleep in the picture above, he loves going for walks on a daily basis, and absolutely LOVES taking showers with daddy. In fact, during his very first shower, he fell asleep in daddy's arms. Enjoy the pictures!
